Video games have always been one of my favorite hobbies. Nothing beats being able to control your own television shows and movies. Video games test your critical thinking skills and reaction time.
Personally, I prefer to play indie games and mobile games. This originally started when I had no consoles and relied on an old computer for gaming. Indie games were the only thing my computer could run. However, it led me down a path to loving independent game development, and game development in general.

If you love idle and combination games, you should check out my review of Alien Evolution: Species Evolving. This game has players combining alien life forms into bigger and better organisms.
Do you like carnival and arcade games? Clawbert may be up your alley. Clawbert is about a lonely crane game claw looking for some friends. Players use the crane to pick up eggs that hatch into Clawbert’s new buddies!
Taking a page out of Pacman’s book, there is also a spinoff game called Clawberta. It works the same as Clawbert, but has different artwork.
Chichens is another clicker game similar to Clawbert. Tap the chichen, hatch eggs, and collect unique baby chichens! Check out my Chichen reviews and tips.
Solbot Energy Rush is a color-matching science fiction game. It also serves as an educational tool for environmental awareness. Solbot is packed with facts and resources for living a green lifestyle.
Human Evolution: Rise of Mankind is a clicker and combination game. Players start off with basic animals and organisms. Combining them together allows players to work their way up the evolutionary chart. It even goes beyond humans into futuristic life forms.
Who doesn’t love zombies? World Zombie Contest asks players to combine zombies together in order to win battles and gain resources.
Black Survival is a point-and-click PVP game. It is based off of the popular ‘battle royale’ format. Players must scavenge for materials in a post-apocalyptic city. Resources are combined together to form powerful weapons and armor.
If you are a fan of IO games then you will love my review of Crash of the Cars. In typical IO fashion, players are pitted against each other in small arena. There are many vehicles to choose from with a variety of attacks and abilities.
Duels is a popular mobile game. Similar to games like Crash Arena Turbo Stars (C.A.T.S.), Duels is based around automatic battles and PVP. Players gear up their characters as best they can, and then send them off to fight their foes!
A drawback of role-playing video games is that you do not get to roll the dice. Luckily, there are unique and interesting dice-based RPGs available. Dice Hunter is an excellent mobile game that combines pen-and-paper and digital RPG elements.
Board Kings is a popular mobile game created by Jelly Button. This game combines board game and RPG elements. Board Kings also has PVP and city building aspects.
Though RPGs have us taking on the identity of another, they can also teach us a lot about ourselves. Let’s discuss a few life skills we can pick up from role-playing games.
